Program Costs
  • The cost of the program is equivalent to one semester of on-campus charges: tuition, room and board, and fees. The program charges cover all academic costs, housing, meals, and academic excursions during the course of the program.
  • The program fees do not include costs of round-trip transportation to and from program location, passport fees, visa expenses, personal travel, books, or personal items.

Financial Aid
Students are eligible to apply their financial aid to one Earlham or Earlham-approved off-campus program during their college career.

Earlham Scholarships
Travel awards are available to assist students who want to study abroad with an Earlham program but find it difficult to manage the added expense of airfare. The funds are to be used for expenses related to travel to and from the destination of your program. Students are selected for these scholarships based on the quality of their scholarship application combined with a demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Center for Global Education in consultation with the Financial Aid Office.

Application Process
The application process involves the completion of multiple steps:
  1. Submit the Application for Earlham-Approved Off-Campus Study Programs.
  2. Complete an interview with a campus program representative.
  3. Receive approval from Earlham.
  4. Complete the specific program application.
